Effect of Gas Impurities on the Throttling Process of Fluorocarbon Refrigerants: Estimation of the Henry's Law Constant
Original language description
The effect of the presence of noncondensing gases on the throttling process of a saturated fluorocarbon refrigerant was studied. Gas impurities affected the manner of onset of vaporization and consequently decreased the overall effectiveness of a vapor cooling circuit. A simple temperature correlation for the Henry's law constant of gases dissolved in saturated fluorocarbons at a low gas partial pressure around 0.1 MPa was established.
