Oscillators for Modelling Circadian Rhythms in Cyanobacteria Growth

  • Original language description

Two types of oscillators have been compared in modelling the cyanobacteria growth cyclic variations subject to diurnal cycles of environment influences. They were involved in the model of algal population growth in photobioreactors where their application has led to a good agreement with laboratory experiment results. This algal population growth model is based on Volterra equations where the delayed causality between both the light irradiance and nutrients supply and the resulting growth is respected.
