Original language description
This paper deals with the numerical simulation of laminar viscous incompressible flows for generalized Newtonian fluids. The mathematical model is the system of Navier-Stokes equations. The finite volume method combined with an artificial compressibilitymethod is used for spatial discretization. For time discretization the explicit multistage Runge-Kutta numerical scheme is considered. Numerical solution are dividend into two parts, steady and unsteady. For unsteady solution the dual-time stepping method is used. Numerical results for two dimensional and three dimensional branching channels are presented.
