Numerical Solution of Inviscid Transonic Flows in a Channel

  • Original language description

This work deals with numerical solution of a subsonic and transonic flow of an inviscid compressible fluid in two- and three-dimensional Gamm channel. Numerical solution was obtained by the finite volume methods using the Lax-Wendroff (LW) scheme, the multistage Runge-Kutta (RK) method and WLSQR, MUSCL schemes on a structured non-orthogonal grids. In 2D case two types of inlet boundary conditions were used. The Jameson's artificial dissipation as added to increase numerical stability of the LW, RK schemes.
