Contact Fatigue of Duplex Treated Low Alloy Steels
Original language description
Heat treated and plasma nitrided Cr-Mo-V steel was coated with different monolayer and multilayer hard PVD coatings. Tribological characteristics of duplex treated low alloy steel was tested in the conditions of contact fatigue wear with modified four-ball tribometer. The experimental results carried out within the project bring novel results in the field of testing tribological characteristics of duplex treated structural steels and in the possibilities of application of duplex treated steels for heavy-loaded machine parts.
