Fatigue life calculator

Result description

The program calculates a fatigue mean-life and safe-life of machine parts loaded with random spectra. Spectra are described by two-parametric frequency matrices of amplitudes and mean stresses at a critical point of part. Operating spectrum is composed by partial loading spectra. Sub-matrices of fatigue damage and value of total damage of operational spectrum is calculated according to fatigue stress-life curves. Safe fatigue life is determined for the specified statistical parameters of input values and desired probability of failure.
