    Numerical Study of Steady Transonic Flow over VELA (Very Efficient Large Aircraft)

    This study deals with numerical simulation of 3D steady inviscid flow around VELA. For the discretization of numerical fluxes, the well-known Roe Riemann Solver is used. To handle with time the implicit backward Euler is employed in order to accelerate the calculating time. The used program is just the first step on our way to develop efficient solver for unsteady viscous flow. In the end, some numerical results are presented together with a comparison of pressure coefficient Cp along three section. Ourresults are compared with results obtained by Fluent, StarCD and Edge. As you can see, we met in good agreement.
