The effect of process conditions flocculation process occurring in agitated vessel
Original language description
The effect of flocculation time, flocculent dosage, impurity concentration, mixing intensity and tank size onto flocculation performance has been presented. For flocculation performance assessment the turbidity measurement has been used. Further the flock size and its shape were investigated by image analysis. The flock shape was characterized by fractal dimension of 2nd order Df2. The effect of flocculation time, flocculent dosage and mixing intensity onto flock size and fractal dimension has been presented.
