Study of the structure and surface properties of nanostructured biocompatible coatings on Ti alloys
Original language description
The thesis concerns about the research of stability biocompatible nanostructured TiO2 surfaces deposited on Ti6A4V alloy and considers contact angles changes of ethylenglykol and distilled water. Surface energy was calculated from measured contact anglesaccording to the model Owens -Wendt. In the first stage I have measured contact angles changes of TiO2 surfaces before and after sterilization. In the next stage I have examined contact angles time changes of TiO2 surfaces in different environments. Themorphology of the deposited layers was observed by JEOL 5410 scanning electron microscope. Results evalutions should proove or disprove time stability of those surfaces. Stability is signifiant for assurance and improvement surface bicompatibility.
