Software EVALVE2D for Numerical Solution of Flow around Exhaust Valve in 2D
Result description
The software models the 2D flow around an exhaust valve in a reciprocating engine. The mathematical model is governed by the Navier-Stokes equations. The numerical solution is based on the AUSM scheme, modified for all speed flows. The accuracy is improved by the linear reconstruction with a limiter. The software deals with structured (multi-block) meshes.
