Original language description

The framework named C4 was developed in the PVSS SCADA environment as a platform for the fast parameterization of the control system. The framework is composed from two main components - functional script and GUI environment. The GUI provides user friendly tools for the parameterization of the controlled system components (sensors, IO modules, and action elements) and objects for the visualization of the controlled system state (alarms, FSM, process data). The framework supports multi user access over TCP/IP protocol with two user levels (OBSERVER and ADMINISTRATOR). The functional script start threads that process sensors input data, calculates set-points for the action elements according to the chosen algorithm and propagates it to IO units. The databetween function script and GUI component are exchanged over the automatically created set of data-points.
