Inverse Form of a Multi-Zone Model of Combustion and Heat Transfer Processes in an SI Engine
Result description
The paper refers to author's Ph.D. Thesis dealing with predictive form of multi-zone model of combustion in spark ignition engine. As a next step, there is an effort to create the inverse form of these models, which will be suitable for cooperation withexperimental development to determine or verify important properties of various fuels. The differential-algebraic equation system describing general n-zone model of combustion and heat transfer and its inverse solution procedure using experimental data is presented here. Real 3-D combustion chamber geometry was described by utilization of geometrical characteristics again, which are created by means of already presented tool working in AutoCAD application environment.
