Investigation of parallelization of multibody dynamic systems
Original language description
The efficiency of multibody modeling and simulation is important for design of mechanical systems. The multibody formalisms differ significantly by their computational complexity. However, the majority of them have been developed for single-processor CPU. Only several schemes have been proposed for the parallelization of multibody formalisms. The paper deals with the experimental evaluation of the parallelization of multibody dynamics using matrix grid of processors based on the formalism of flexible natural coordinates formulated in the modified state space. The results demonstrate advantageous properties.
