Tribological Characteristics of Duplex Coated Cr-Mo-V Alloyed Steel
Original language description
The paper sums up research results made on duplex coated steels. As parent material was chosen low alloyed steel 31CrMoV9 (CSN 15 330) suitable to nitration Samples were quenched and tempered in nitrogen atmosphere. Parameters of heat treating were following: quenched from temperature 865°C, cooled by compressive nitrogen and tempered at 600°C for 2 hours in nitrogen atmosphere. The material hardness was 49-51 HRC after quenching, after 1st tempering was 52-53 HRC and after 2nd tempering was 50-51 HRC.
