Original language description
The software component for the binary gas composition offline predictions was developed. The component is programmed in the PVSS II, ver. 3.8 SCADA as an additional module for the control software of the ultrasonic gas analyzer. The module is calculatingthe gas composition from the measured speed of sound, pressure and temperature using the comparison with appropriate table values generated from the NIST BWR equation of state or PC-SAFT. The calculation itself is based on the minimization of the quadratic norm. The component can be also used for the tuning of the algorithm parameters when training data are used. The process of the calculation can be monitored by the user on the GUI that is a part of the component. Data are automatically stored in a csv file by the component when the process is finished.
