Original language description
In this paper there is mentioned the importance of feed-rate analysis during multi-axis machining operations. Initially the algorithm for relative feed-rate prediction before the actual machining process using a CNC machine tool has been proposed. The algorithm has been implemented into the postprocessor and tested during NC program generation. Thanks to this new postprocessor algorithm it's easy for a production engineer to determine real technology conditions before an actual machining and eventuallycorrect the tool path to achieve better conditions. For the purpose of relative feed-rate measuring a method which is based on application of contactless position sensor has been designed and tested. Practical benefits and the functionality of the postprocessor algorithm for feed-rate prediction have been verified by measuring relative reed-rate in a particular case of complex shape part.
