Original language description
This work deals with the mathematical simulation of a two-stroke two-cylinder diesel engine boosted with a turbocharger and different types of mechanical driven superchargers arranged on the engine downstream or upstream of the turbocharger in a commercial code GT - POWER. Optimization of the whole engine air loop is carried out while varying the supercharger transmission gear ratio and the turbine waste-gate diameter or the turbine geometry. The main goal of this work is to choose the best arrangementof the air loop and suitable boosting devices.
