Original language description
The purpose of this paper is to show how the GE Aviation implemented Six Sigma method from scratch in their new subsidiary Walter Aviation from Prague. Walter Engines was bought by GE Aviation in order to directly compete with Pratt & Whitney, because the market share was and still is very attractive. Using Six Sigma, me and the GE specialists achieved the improvement of the technological process and optimized the delayed products to customers from 500 to 1 delayed product in the 49th week since the acquisition.
