Calibreation of Fivehole Probe and Calibration Data Prossesing
Original language description
The present contribution summarizes how to make calibration of a five hole cobra probe and how to post-process the calibration data so as to use it directly in measurement. The following issues are dealt with: the process of calibration on a calibrationstand, calibration data processing, and the interpolation of calibration data by polynomial model. A practical example of interpolation optimization is given being based on a change of degree of interpolation polynomials. Subsequently, the contribution presents the way to recalculate interpolation data to a format by means of which the direction of the current measured by the probe can be determined as well as the overall static pressure of it. The output parameters, which are obtainable via the measurement through a five hole cobra probe, are also described.
