Original language description
Evaluation of TC maps from steady operation testrig is done using procedures for total pressure/static temperature deduced from total temperature/static pressure measurement and mass-flow rate measurement. The turbine power is evaluated from compressor power driven by a cold-flow turbine to eliminate heat transfer influence on both compressor/turbine enthalpy heads. Similar procedure is applied for mechanical loss evaluation without oil heating by heat transfer from a turbine. Both wide-range compressorand turbine maps are extrapolated by regression models with supporting measurements at zero speed and overloaded/underloaded turbine at different turbine inlet temperatures for wide blade-speed ratio range.
