    Springback analysis of thermoplastic composite plates

  • Original language description

    The article deals with the prediction of springback in the thermoplastic composite plates with single or double curvature. Analytical model takes into account the change in temperature, moisture change and matrix shrinkage during cure. Classical lamination theory and equations for the through thickness characteristics are used tfor computation. 4 types of lay up were investigatated and results compared with FE model and measured data from manufacturer.
