High Order FVM Schemes for 3D Transonic Flows
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to compare the results of numerical simulation of 3D transonic flow over swept wing ONERA M6. The used finite volume numerical schemes are based on two different approaches (see sec. 2) - the first is the so called Modified Causon's scheme (MCS) [3] and the second is the Weighted Least Square Reconstruction scheme (WLSQR) [3]. Simulations were carried out both in inviscid and turbulent regime. Hence two governing systems of equations were used - the system of the Euler equationsfor the case of the inviscid flow and the system of Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) [2] for the case of turbulent flow.
