    Modelling of High-Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

    This paper presents specific issues of modelling a high-speed permanent magnet motor (PMSM). Although the dynamic model of classic PMSM is well knows, high-speed machines have theirs specifics like a large influence of bearing or air friction losses notcovered by the standard model. Those are discussed in this paper together with experimental verification of the model. Finally suggestions for future improvements are gives.
