    This paper deals with substrate treatment by ultrasound irradiation and its influence on biogas production. The goal of our study was to verify the effect of ultrasound irradiation, and to find optimal parameters (power, intensity and duration of exposure). Experiments were conducted in fermentors in a parallel arrangement (treated vs. untreated). The objective was to evaluate the effect of ultrasound irradiation on biogas production.
