The standard ČSN ISO/TS 16949 which establishes specific requirements for the use of ISO 9001:2000 in organizations providing mass production and production of spare parts in the automotive industry. This paper deals with implementation of process approach and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) in the foundry during process of design and implementation quality management system. In the part Process approach are considered main points of this tool. In the part FMEA authors have tried to reflect thebasic idea of this method in relation on the real case.
