Original language description
The paper deals with the issue of gases inflow into chemical reactors and their distribution over catalytic layer. The previous papers used 2D and 3D simulation CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) models to compare the impact of reactor heads and internalplacements on the gas flows entering the catalytic layer. The current paper describes design of an experimental catalytic reactor model, flow velocities measurement in experimental apparatus, and comparison of initial measured results with calculated 3DCFD models.
