Preparation of soft tissues samples for nanoindentation is very difficult. It is very easy to grind surface of hard tissues like bone. But how to prepare their mutual interface? The nanoindentation requires high quality of sample surface. A very low roughness is required. How we can do it? We can do histological cuts using microtome or cryomicrotome. It is possible to measure thin samples?
