Analysis Of Finishing NC Programs From Two Different CAM Systems
Original language description
The article concerns with the comparison of toolpaths in NC programs using different possibilities of output format in two different CAM systems. The toolpath is defined by number of NC blocks and its interpolation type. The number of NC blocks depends on the toolpath computation tolerance value specified by a production engineer in the CAM system just as the interpolation type. The interpolation type will affect the interpretation of NC program by a control system. Therefore it has been come up to measure the feed-rate profile along the different toolpaths using a contactless sensor. A blade used in the turbine has been chosen for testing toolpaths creation. In the article, there are shown the measured characteristics of feed-rate between the tool andthe workpiece using a different toolpaths from two different CAM systems and the machining time is observed too. CAM systems Siemens NX and CATIA have been chosen for creation of toolpaths. Sinumerik 840D control system on an experimenta
