Transonic flow of wet steam - some remarks on numerical simulation

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the numerical solution of two phase flow of steam in a nozzle and a turbine stage performed by in-house numerical code. Several modifications of the flow model published by Stastny are presented. Issues related to the numerical method and to the problem formulation are mentioned. The effect of droplet size spectra of incoming wet steam is discussed.
