Original language description

This paper gives an overview of specific outcomes of SGS12/175/OHK2/3T/12 grant Research of mechanical properties of metal materials and their simulation. Firstly, the complete optical system for fatigue crack initiation and growth measurement is introduced. The next section presents capabilities of the fatigue prediction software tool, which is mainly designed as Abaqus plugin for transferring data between Abaqus and PragTic fatigue solver. In the last section progress of the fretting fatigue experimental program is presented.
