Original language description
This paper describes progress on the development of a high-speed permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). The machine is supposed to work with a turbocharger turbine and compressor as a combined heat and power supply (CHP). The target specification are speed 250 kRPM, electrical power 5 kW. A smaller prototype is described in this paper. The machine was used to gain experience with construction of such machine and to estimate the feasibility of such concept.
