Presented article deals with a study of the influence of the fiber length on the thermo-elastic properties of randomly reinforced composite. The study also compares differences between the exact solution where composite layer with random reinforcement isidealized as a laminate with high numbers of thin unidirectional layers oriented from 0° to 180° - and approximations.
