Analysis of cutting forces in milling process
Original language description
This paper concerns the problem of milling Nickel-based super alloy Inconel 738LC. Alloys like this are well-known and widely used in aerospace manufacturing; they belong to difficult-cut-materials. Therefore, the problem of tool life is very important and still actual. In submitted study is a described experiment of milling Inconel 738LC. Cutting forces running is shown, which affect tool wear characteristics. Results of experiment were analyzed in terms of statistics and shown direct dependence tool wear of angle and feed rate throw cutting forces.
