    In cooperation with Tomsk State University (Russian Federation), the Department of Manufacturing Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague carried out a verification of the properties of a new detergent containing a substance called glioxal and other support materials for the removal of boiler scale, corrosion and mineral build-ups in the piping systems. The purpose of the cleaning is to rid the metal surfaces of all deposits, corrosion and mineral build-ups. The aim of the application of an entirely new substance is to clean the metal surface and thus reduce friction and heat losses in the pipes.
