Values of area reduction are satisfactory. Values of tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are satisfactory with the exception of sample B of the part 3. It does not fulfill required values of tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. Chemical composition is not completely in accordance with the MS 27 standard since the content of boron is higher than required. Carbon equivalent is satisfactory. Core microstructure consists of tempered martensite. Near surface microstructure is composedof tempered martensite and ferrite that is present at the decarburized edge of the samples. Oxide type inclusions are present.
