The paper investigates the influence of the stiffness of the actuator and the secondary structure on the resulting properties of mechatronic stiffness concept. The relationship between the structure stiffness and the actuator stiffness influences the controllability and observability of the mechatronic stiffness measured by Hankel norm. It enables to choose the suitable structural parameters and the suitable actuators.
