Original language description
The paper is focused on the evaluation of the impact of thermal-expansionary pretreatment on methane yield of wheat straw. Based on biogas yield investigation for various process parameters (process temperature 170°C-200°C, residence time 0-60 min), it was verified that the pretreatment increases methane yield up to 40 % towards to untreated sample. It was also determined that methane yield goes down with increase in process temperature and residence time.
