Compressible flow around rotating and translating body
Original language description
The authors consider a rigid body rotating around the third axis and investigate the motion of a viscous compressible fluid around such a body, which plays the role of an obstacle. The fluid is described by compressible Navier-Stokes equations and it isalso assumed that the exterior domain ?(t) occupied by the fluid is time dependent, while the action of external forces is omitted. For this interesting problem the existence of a weak solution is proved, when the velocity at infinity is nonzero and parallel to the rotation axis.
