    Numerical Solution of Simplified Natural Draft Cooling Tower Flow Model

  • Original language description

    The article deals with the numerical solution of natural draft cooling tower flow. Mathematical model of the homogeneous mixture of dry air and water vapour with source terms is solved using McCormack scheme. MacCormack scheme is stabilized using added Jameson's artificial diffusion and using Davis-Roe flux limited method. The numerical solution is presented for quasi one dimensional model of natural draft wet-cooling tower flow. The simulation results are shown.
