Original language description
The article deals with the numerical simulation of axisymmetric synthetic jet flow using ANSYS Fluent commercial solver. Both the flow in the orifice and actuator cavity is included in the simulation. Results are shown for three Reynolds numbers Re = 76,145 and 329 and one Stokes number S = 19.7 [1,2]. Results of the numerical simulations are presented in the form of phase averaged streamwise velocities. The influence of Reynolds number on the flow field is discussed.
