Original language description
Presented model is an extension of model according to Hyhlík (2014-1). The flow of moist air is described by the system of conservation laws along with additional equations. The heat and mass transfer in the counterflow wet-cooling tower fill are described by the model of Klimanek & Białecky (2009). The heat and mass transfer in the rain zone are described by the model of Hyhlík (2014-2). Both the model of fill and the model of rain zone are described by the boundary value problem for the system of ordinary differential equations. The boundary value problems resulting from the fill model and from the rain zone model are solved separately. The system of conservation law equations is interlinked with the systems of ordinary differential equations via heat and mass sources. The numerical solution is presented for the quasi one dimensional model of natural draft wet-cooling tower flow.
