This chapter describes the strategies to preserve the cultural heritage sites as one of the key objective of the Climate for Culture project. It was to perform an assessment of existing micoclimate control strategies with respect to their energy consumption as well as their applicability to a wide spectrum of cultural heritage sites preserved in historic buildings of different structure, utilization and climatic region in Europe.
