    Heat Transfer Coefficient in Transverse Flow around Circular Cylinder Situated into Constrain Surrounding

    The heat transfer phenomena in the transversal flow around the element with an inner heat source inserted into a restricted environment represented by the pipe was investigated. Two geometries and various Reynolds numbers and powers of the heat source were simulated in the CFD software. The results of the simulation were compared with the empirical equations from the literature designated for the calculation of the Nusselt number for the overflow around the cylinder in the unlimited environment. Based on these investigations a new equation for Nusselt number evaluation for the described geometry was proposed.
