Influence of Cutting Speed on the Quality of the Oxygen Fuel Cutting
Original language description
This article focuses on oxy-fuel cutting of structural steel. The main aim is to evaluate influence of cutting speed on quality of cutting edges. You can find here evaluation of hardness, deviation of of or straghtness and roughness according to standart CSN EN 1090. Two cutting speeds are considered, 310 and 435 mm/min. Better results from all points of view were reached with lower cutting speed. The higher cutting speed is unacceptable because of too high edge hardness.
