    The present work discusses the measurement of material properties, i.e. hardness and modulus of elasticity obtained in a single express test based on the Automated Ball Indentation (ABI) using equipment and method developed by the authors. The ABI results will be subsequently used as an input data for the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and compared to other methods.
