Automated Algorithm of Muscle Wrapping Based on Geodesic Path
Original language description
The goal of the project is to develop an automated, fast and accurate method for computing shortest musculotendon paths across biologically realistic wrapping surfaces in musculoskeletal models. The model could be adopted for each patient and it is based on CT data segmentation and calculation of muscle force using a combination of geodetic algorithm on triangulated surface and convex wrapping algorithm. The model could calculate exact path without the need of defining either wrapping points or obstacle surfaces.
