Test beam results of a 3D diamond detector
Original language description
3D pixel technology has been used successfully in the past with silicon detectors for trackingapplications. Recently, a first prototype of the same 3D technology has been produced on achemical vapour deposited single-crystal diamond sensor. This device has been subsequentlytested in a beam test at CERN’s SPS accelerator in a beam of 120 GeV protons. Details on theproduction and results of testbeam data are presented.
