Original language description
Designing of high-stiffness composite profiles for application in production machines is a complicated task with a large amount of input parameters. A method for designing the profiles, together with analytic and finite element simulations, were developed and tested on a set of composite profiles with different internal geometry and various materials in lay-up. Analytic and FE simulations were compared with the experimental results to discuss the ability of methods to be used as an industrial approach.
