Vibration modes of a single plate with the general boundary conditions
Original language description
This paper deals with free flexural vibration modes and natural frequencies of a thin plate. Vibration modes and natural frequencies are solved for simply supported and clamped plate and for general boundary conditions – supported plate with torsion springs. The comparison of different approaches of vibration mode computation is done: finite element method, numerical-analytical approach and Rayleigh-Ritz method. Vibration modes of the supported plate with torsion springs are presented for three different stiffnesses. Theoretical background of the computations is shortly given.
