The paper is focused on determination of meshing gears quality in transmissions during load tests. Quality of gears meshing have influence on intended life of gearing, noise, vibration and quality of lubrication. The face load factor KHβ is the principal parameter. KHβ represents the load distribution over the tooth face width. Load distribution depends on several factors.
